but we have to wait till after the holidays. I always overextend
myself during this time of year and this year is worse.

It's a great show ! I like how the plots / story line is written. The Tv Series has good actors like Dennis Haysbert & Robert Patrick.
I hope they don't kill the show. It has been moved from the tuesday time slot to sundays. That is not a good sign. I'm not complaining because i get to watch it on TV on sundays instead of downloading it if i'm working on a tuesday night.

Guess what? My neighbour gave us one free ticket for a cooking lesson at Sur La Table. I had the hubby go in my place since he doesn't know how to cook. Wah, he came back with a couple of dishes. He had a great time and once we are able, both of us are going for lessons together.
yeah ! cooking with your other half is fun. i know my girlfriend is a good cook now. she used to make me breakfast when she was in toronto ! best thing to wake up to.

Except for cold cuts, we all hate turkey man. Having to cook that thing just takes too damn long. Then having to recycle the bird in various concoctions for the next how many days is just rubbing salt into the wound. Chickens rule!!!
Apart from the usual sides, I make mac & cheese and some stir fried veggies. That's about it. But the best thing happens after Thanksgiving dinner. That's when I drag out the tree and start decorating the house. Now *that's* dessert. hahah
Turkey Cranberry Sandwich, Turkey Soup, Turkey Pasta, Turkey Salad, Turkey everything !
Chicken is nice.. but it's sooo small.
Mac and cheese is always welcome in my tummy. Do it with Perigord Truffle, Duck Confit, Parmesan Reggiano, Telaggio, Fontina, Radicchio and Baby Arugula. That is how we do it at work.

it is pretty normal for mac's in Canada. We've got the double big mac and the double quarter pounder too. Triple Whooper at BK.
