okay i'm definitely going perth. got my place in a school and now i'm trying to get a place in hostel(unlikely).
sigh i don't know where to buy winterwear. the ones in sg are hideous but i'm afraid i can't get something my size there. my friends say the children's department should have my size but i'm worried the children's department will have absolutely ridiculous clothes.
tsk.
HOW??????????????????????????????

man.. the last thing u wanna buy clothes is go AUS or NZ.
Why u think people fly back with empty suitcase n fly back overweight ar! But for winter clothes should have many varieties ler. Go to korean boutique. They will sell one. few days ago went to buy jacket with friend. She like 155 cm n they have at the normal clothing shops. Nice jacket somemore with fur at collar. inside. looks good also. if here got sell.. perth confirm got one.

agree with lao labbit and fatum
chin chai get something to chiam see tong first
go there then buy
but if not urgent (ie. if not going during winter time)
dun even need to buy now
wait till you get there
lots of varieties there and you won't stand out like a sore thumb wearing weird clothes if u buy locally
i'm assuming perth to be somewhat like adelaide where i wasand omg brey, target is not a budget store lor
target is nice
won't go wrong (but it's not all that cheap)

i went to melbourne with a few clothes, a couple of sweaters.. and bought my stuff there..
the winter wear here is either hideous or unreasonably expensive.. or both..
get your stuff there.. just anyhow buy a few warm pieces to tide you over.. buy the stuff there.. it'll be cheaper and you don't have to lug it all with you to and from the airports...

babe, just bring a turtleneck and a padded jacket.
I've been to perth and its really not that cold & I survive with thick layers.
you should be concern for the heat cos it can be ultra hot there during summers.
perth no doubt is quiet, but there is lots of places to go from there. drive to freementle.
or find the oldest sleepy town with th oldest tree in australia.
and do drive to visit the kaola bear zoo, the reserves, the wine valleys and those lovely omellette breakfast near to shop that sells hose studels in town.

buy in singapore is more expensive than aust.
go to target, Big W. they often have sales on. the sales are genuine sales.
in my opinion, CHINA is cheapest. next time u go china, try to grab winter clothing.
studying in perth is not the wisest of choice if you are on a limmited budget. as inflation in perth is the worse.
housing is expensive, food price has almost increase ranging from 20 to 50%.
adelaide should be cheapest now!

haha perth weather are generally ok lah...i find the cold more bearable than the hot. When in summer, it can get really hot....being in Singapore, I guess we would appreciate the cold more often right...now should be around 10 degrees right...not so bad lah haha.... so did you manage to go around perth yet other than your school? I like that place very much
